A Beautiful Weekend
02.29.04 (6:26 pm)   [edit]
Today was so pretty outside. It felt like Spring, which I am so ready for. I really didn't do much. I went to church, came home. and did my homework. Since that didn't take very long, I rode the four-wheeler. I love to ride motorbikes. It was such a pretty day to ride the four-wheeler. I normally ride my horse, but I sold her this week, so I couldn't do that. It was very sad. I always get so attached to my animals. Oh well, I'm gonna get ready to go bed, since I've got to go to school tomorrow. I'm really getting Senioritis!

Saturday Night

He is so cute.So this week has been quite hectic.Anyways, Satuday I went up to their house to help my sister and her husband with some things around the house. I also got to tend to the baby( I tried to give my sister a break). He is so cute.

Biography of Geoffrey Chaucer
02.25.04 (11:06 am)   [edit]
Geoffrey Chaucer (born 1340/44, died 1400) is remembered as the author of The Canterbury Tales, which ranks as one of the greatest epic works of world literature. Geoffrey Chaucer was born in London. He was the son of a prosperous wine merchant and deputy to the king's butler, and his wife Agnes.According to tradition, Chaucer died in London on October 25, 1400. He was buried in Westminster Abbey, in the part of the church, which afterwards came to be called Poet's Corner. A monument was erected to him in 1555.

Snowbound
02.22.04 (1:27 pm)   [edit]
My goodness! I didn't even think it was going to snow, but it did. I got 7 inches of snow at my house. That Sunday morning when I woke up, all I could see was white. It snowed all day. We were out of school Monday-Wednesday that following week. It felt so good to sleep in those three days. We had so much snow that I wasn't able to leave my house until Tuesday afternoon. It was alot of fun to play in. I rode the four-wheeler in the snow, made snowcream(it's really good), and just layed around the house. When Thursday came around, I really didn't want to go back.

A Really Good Movie To See
02.22.04 (1:13 pm)   [edit]
Since we got out of school for snow last week, I had time to watch a really good movie. It's called Open Range. It's a western with Kevin Costner in it. For me, I like western movies, but some people don't. I would recommend it for someone to watch.

Another Weekend
02.08.04 (3:43 pm)   [edit]
My weekend has been kind of calm. Thursday and Friday of last week we got out of school because of flooding. I went to the basketball game on Friday, then a bunch of us came out to my house to watch a movie. Saturday I went shopping with my Mom. Sunday, I didn't do much. I rode my horse and did my homework. Nothing interesting happened.

Senior Year is Almost Over
02.08.04 (3:32 pm)   [edit]
I can't believe it's here! This is the moment that I've thought about ever since I have been little. The sun is just starting to go down on this warm, Friday night. To be honest, I'm a little nervous and scared. There's not an empty seat to be found, as me and 300 others walk onto the field. You can hear mom's crying in the distance, as the husbands try to console them. All I can think about is that night I was crowned Homecoming Queen, coming to watch the football games, laughing with my friends trying to decide what to do after the game.
For many of us, this might be the last time we see each other for a while. Some will be going to the same college, best friends will be rooming together, boyfriends and girlfriends will either stay together or break up, and others might stay home and go to a small college close to home. No matter what happens, we are all growing up and going our seperate ways. This is the moment that we've all worked hard to get to. We made it, so live it up! This is the best time of our lives.
